Step 1 - apply bald cap, making sure hair is tucked in/braided. Apply Spirit Gum near hairline to adhere. Apply pencil marks to indicate hair line, and how far alginate should go back (between ears and over head). Apply vaseline over bald cap and have subject apply to eyelashes and eyebrows. Step 2 mix alginate in 1:1 ratio with water. When correct consistency is obtained, apply alginate to subject. Starting with head work your way down, warning them about delicate places like eyes and mouth. Step 3. Apply plaster wetted bandages, starting with long thin pieces around the face/head as outline. Double layer everywhere else. Apply another outline when finished. Step 4. let cool, when cool, have subject help by leaning over and wiggling face. Step 5. Plug nose holes with clay or alginate. Step 6. Fill head mold with plaster and let set. When plaster is fully dry in a few days, take the plaster and alginate off and you have your head.

honestly the experience was pretty uncomfortable and I was very freaked out before hand. Every once and awhile I would feel panicked but then I'd be able to calm myself down. It was cold and slimy and I didn't like it at all.
